Since 1991, Home Grown Hats has manufactured quality hemp hats. This year our company was reborn as Lost Coast Hemp, named for the scenic and remote lost coast of Northern California where we live.
 Our Customers want clothing sewn in the U.S. — not shabby goods produced in some hidden city sweatshop or foreign factory with slave wages. Besides providing living-wage jobs in a hard-hit rural area, our company benefits by getting "Made in the USA" quality work from women who are proud of what they do.

Many are sewn with hemp fabric grown without chemicals or pesticides. By dyeing with "low-impact" dyes, we help reduce the spiraling load of toxins in our soils and waterways.
